Our client had been running his landscaping business on Long Island for six years on word of mouth alone. Good work, steady referrals, no website. When a competitor started showing up on Google and taking calls he used to get, he decided it was time.

The Situation

He had no existing web presence. No domain. No logo file. A Facebook page with a few photos, a phone number, and a service area that covered most of Nassau County.

When customers searched "landscaping [his town] NY" on Google, his name didn't appear. Competitors with mediocre work but a decent website were getting the call.

We pulled service photos directly from his Facebook page to populate the gallery. Built a contact form that delivers inquiries to his email and texts his phone. Set up Google Analytics so he can see where traffic comes from.

SEO setup included: meta titles and descriptions for every page, a Google sitemap submission, Google Business Profile optimization, and local schema markup so Google understands his service area.

The domain was registered and hosting configured on day one. The site was live on day five.

The Result

Within the first week, he received an inquiry through the contact form from someone who found him on Google — a lawn maintenance job for a property two towns over that he would never have reached through his existing referral network.

The site now ranks on the first page of Google for his primary service keywords in his town.
